This policy explains how UnwantedCall handles information when you search phone numbers, submit community reports, or contact us.

Information we collect

• Search and usage data: requests, pages visited, device/browser information, timestamps, and security logs that our hosting infrastructure may process.
• Community submissions: call classifications, comments, optional caller or company labels, and related report details.
• Contact requests: your email address, optional name, message, page URL, and request category.
• Public data: aggregated consumer complaint data made available by government sources such as the FTC.

Do not submit sensitive personal information. Phone numbers shown on UnwantedCall are treated as identifiers associated with displayed calls, not as verified identities of callers or owners.

How we use information

We use information to operate search, publish community reports, calculate aggregated signals, prevent abuse, moderate content, respond to requests, maintain security, and understand service performance. We do not sell personal information. We do not currently use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Public content

Phone-number pages, classifications, and approved comments are public and may be indexed by search engines. Do not include your own phone number, address, email, or another person’s private information in comments. Contact-form messages and email addresses are not published.

Retention

Public reports may remain while they contribute to the community record, subject to correction and removal review. Contact and security records are retained only as reasonably needed to handle requests, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

Sharing

We may use infrastructure and service providers to host and protect UnwantedCall. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business reorganization. We do not claim that public user submissions are confidential.

Your choices and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about how personal information is handled. You may also request review of a phone page affected by spoofing or inaccurate content. Submit a privacy request or use our content review process. We may need to verify the request and may retain information where legally permitted.

Children

UnwantedCall is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Security and international use

We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. UnwantedCall is designed primarily for users and phone numbers in the United States; information may be processed where our providers operate.

Changes

We may update this policy as our practices change. The latest version and date will remain available on this page.
