These Terms govern your access to and use of UnwantedCall. By using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use or submit content to UnwantedCall.

1. What UnwantedCall provides

UnwantedCall is a community information platform for searching US phone numbers and sharing experiences with calls displaying those numbers. Information may include user submissions, automated summaries, aggregated statistics, and complaints obtained from public government datasets.

UnwantedCall does not guarantee that information is complete, current, or accurate. A displayed phone number does not reliably identify the caller because caller ID can be spoofed. A report or complaint is not proof of wrongdoing, fraud, ownership, or identity.

2. Community content

Users are responsible for what they submit. Reports reflect the contributor’s own statements and opinions, not UnwantedCall’s views. By submitting content, you confirm that it describes a genuine experience, is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and does not violate these Terms.

You grant UnwantedCall a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, moderate, display, and distribute submitted content for operating and improving the service. You retain any rights you otherwise hold.

3. Prohibited submissions

• Content you know is false, fabricated, misleading, or unrelated to an actual call experience.
• Threats, harassment, hate, unlawful accusations, defamation, or instructions facilitating wrongdoing.
• Personal data such as home addresses, private email addresses, financial information, passwords, health information, or government identifiers.
• Impersonation, promotional spam, malware, links intended to deceive, or attempts to manipulate ratings.
• Automated bulk submissions, scraping that burdens the service, or attempts to bypass security.

4. Moderation and fairness

We may review, reject, edit for formatting, restrict, label, or remove content when we reasonably believe it violates our policies or creates legal, privacy, safety, or integrity risks. We aim not to suppress genuine negative experiences merely because they are negative. Decisions may be revisited after a correction or appeal request.

5. FTC and other public data

References to FTC data mean consumer-submitted unwanted-call complaints made available through an official public dataset. They are not independently verified by UnwantedCall and do not mean the FTC determined that a number or person committed fraud or violated the law. UnwantedCall is not affiliated with or endorsed by the FTC, FCC, or any government agency.

6. No professional advice

The service is for general information only and is not legal, financial, credit, investigative, emergency, or personal-safety advice. Do not use UnwantedCall to make decisions about employment, housing, credit, insurance, or any purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

7. Intellectual property

The UnwantedCall name, design, software, and original materials belong to UnwantedCall or its licensors. You may use the service for personal, lawful purposes but may not copy or commercially exploit substantial portions without permission.

8. Disclaimers and limitation

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties and do not promise uninterrupted access or particular results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, UnwantedCall will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service or reliance on user content.
